Okay, I have a question about this whole guest blogging thing. It seems to be pretty popular, and it’s a good idea for when you’re out of town, but how does it work? Do you write the posts in advance? Does the person whose blog it is give you their login information? I want to know more, please.
Jess and Michelle: With a system like WordPress.com or Blogger, I think you can just add more authors to a blog (as long as they sign up for the same service). Simply remove them when you come back from vacation (or leave them there forever).
Jess & Michelle: Essentially what happened was Mike told me what day I’d be writing (today) and I prepared a post. I emailed the post to Molly last night and she posted it this morning (Mike gave her his log-in information).
If you’re not comfortable giving someone your log-in information, you can have them prepare a post in advance and then time-stamp it in the future, so that it doesn’t actually post until the day you dictate.
Aaaaaand that’s the extent of my knowledge on guest-posting. Hope that helps!

i’m confused. i’m an avid clink reader and molly reader. so mike is molly’s fiance. and mike is your boss? yes?
with the weekly guest posts I am doing they email them to me and I introduce them and I am the only one with login information.
Ahem…

Take pity on a poor grad student, food serves as a substitute for my social life
Also- isn’t working for crazy rich folk *fun*? I was a PA on the UES for a little under a year. Good times. Uh huh.
